Mark Mitchell

Mark is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Adaptor Capital Management LP and the Managing Member of Adaptor Capital Management GP LLC. Mark has over 38 years of experience in equity portfolio management, including as co-founder, managing member, portfolio manager, and head of risk management and trading of Starboard Value LP. Prior to this, Mark was a partner and managing director at Ramius LLC where he served as portfolio manager, head of risk management and trading, and co-founded the Starboard Value and Opportunity investment platform funds prior to its spin-out in 2011. Since 2019, Mark has served as an independent director to Shenkman Capital Management, Inc.
Earlier in his career, Mark was a Managing Director of BT Alex Brown Inc., where he was responsible for proprietary equity arbitrage trading, and an Associate Managing Director of Wertheim Schroder & Co. as a risk arbitrage trader. Mark has formerly sat on the Board of Directors of I-Many, Inc., a business software company, and CPI Corp., a digital photography business.

Mark graduated magna cum laude from The Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania, where he received a B.S. in Economics, and from the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he received an M.B.A.

Nate Mitchell

Nate Mitchell is the Co-founder, Partner, and CIO of Adaptor Capital Management LP. Prior to co-founding Adaptor, he was an equity research associate on the Internet and Digital Media team at Truist Securities (formerly known as SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) for three years, where he was responsible for conducting due diligence, writing reports, building and updating financial models, and participating in conference calls for e-commerce and web services companies.
Prior to Truist, he was an equity research associate for the Clean Tech team at FBR Capital Markets (which has since merged with B Riley) for one year.
